Our College Soccer Advisory Program (CSAP) is now available online, offering participants the flexibility to progress at their own pace. The program, designed to assist athletes in the college soccer recruitment process, is provided free of charge to club members. As our Chelsea Soccer Club continues to grow, we recognize the desire of players in the latter stages of their youth soccer careers to explore collegiate opportunities. Our objective is to facilitate this exploration without the necessity of changing clubs for success.

Led by our Director of Coaching, Matthew Clarke, CSAP welcomes athletes regardless of skill level, emphasizing commitment and a passion for the sport. The program aims to achieve the following goals:

⚽ Provide an overview of college soccer across various levels (NCAA D1, D2 & D3, NAIA & Junior Colleges).
⚽ Explain the interplay between academics and athletics, including scholarships and eligibility.
⚽ Assess the athletic and academic potential of each participant to help them understand their real possibilities.
⚽ Guide athletes through fundamental aspects of college soccer recruiting, such as communication with college coaches, creating recruiting profiles, participating in ID camps, showcases, and college visits.

The program structure involves individual follow-ups with program leads, tracking progress and addressing specific needs throughout the academic year.

To participate, athletes must:

⚽ Be a current and non-delinquent Chelsea Soccer Club member.
⚽ Be a sophomore, junior, or senior in high school.
⚽ Have an interest in exploring college soccer opportunities, even if they aren't fully committed.
⚽ Possess an open mind, proactive mentality, and a willingness to learn.
