Hi there!
I hope you are excited for tryouts tomorrow and Sunday! Please see below for important pieces of information for the weekend, and let me know if you have any questions.
1) Remember to bring: an inflated soccer ball, shinguards (not having these is not a deal breaker), sufficient water, and we recommend putting sunscreen on. Make sure your player is wearing appropriate clothes. When you get there, one of our directors will send your kid to the right coach.
2) Teams will be emailed Sunday night, or Monday. Then, you will be able to complete your registration (pay in full or set up a payment plan) as well as the other required steps (complete your documentation online and order uniforms).
3) Location: tryouts will still take place at Chelsea HS (same address), but we have moved to the Varsity Soccer Field (the main field with the bleachers).
4) Parent meeting: there will be a quick parent meeting with the club president at the beginning of each session at the bleachers. Please head to the bleachers after dropping your kid(s) off.
5) New uniforms: there will be samples of the new uniforms under the roof by the tennis courts. You can try those on and make notes on your sizes. You will not need to order until you get offered and accept a spot in one of our teams. Everybody is ordering new uniforms this season, and those will be good for the next 2 years.
6) Inclement weather: if it looks like we may get inclement weather (there is a very slim chance), we ask that you stick around, so we can send kids to cars in case of thunder/lightning.
